WHY IS THE CUBA EXPERIENCE MORE EXPENSIVE THAN OTHER TN EXPERIENCES?
The Cuba Experience starts from as little as $16 a day (from July until the trip departs). This Experience is the product of a team of dozens of locals, operators, entrepreneurs and artists. It’s the culmination of centuries of life in Cuba, eight months and hundreds of hours of research, on the ground and over the phone conversations and lots of refining and improving. This Experience includes the cost, labor and acquisition of a Cuban Visa, an additional day and night compared to our other Experiences, time spent between two cities instead of one. In addition to a staff member and private photographer, your investment also includes a bilingual local guide.
WHY IS THE MONTHLY PAYMENT PLAN OPTION MORE EXPENSIVE FOR THE CUBA EXPERIENCE THAN OTHER EXPERIENCES?
The payment plan option is designed for the traveler to complete payment in four months. The increase in the price of the payment reflects the higher cost of the Cuba Experience.
WHY DOES THE CUBA EXPERIENCE HAVE MORE TRAVELERS THAN OTHER TN EXPERIENCES?
Eighteen travelers is still a very small number compared to other tour companies. Furthermore, this number ensures that your experience remains intimate without further increasing the price of the Cuba Experience.
YOU SAID YOU ARE PARTNERING WITH A THIRD PARTY VENDOR FOR THE CUBA EXPERIENCE. WHO ARE THEY AND HOW ARE THEY INVOLVED IN THE TRIP?
Currently, U.S. foreign policy restricts outside organizations from directly creating Cuba travel packages. Together with our partner organization, we’ve hand curated things you'll do, see & eat that you could never find on your own. Our partner organization will provide a bilingual local guide to accompany you during your experience.
DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS?
The Cuba Experience is non-refundable and non-transferable. Please ensure that you can attend the Experience before booking it.
We strongly encourage you to purchase comprehensive cancel for any reason insurance within 10 days of your purchase, so that you'll be able to recover your investment from your insurance provider, should you need to cancel. This website provides a variety of comprehensive cancel for any reason insurance options.
WHAT INSURANCE IS REQUIRED?
Travel medical insurance is required. For travel medical insurance, our minimum insurance coverage for medical emergency evacuation and repatriation is USD$200,000 (or equivalent in other currencies). We will verify that all travelers have such insurance in place and coverage as per the requirements listed above.
Our recommended vendor is World Nomads who will be able to provide a variety of benefits including adventure travel insurance. You have the choice to use any travel insurance provider you'd like as long as you send us proof of insurance at least one month before the scheduled departure. You also have the option of securing insurance through Travel Noire. Failure to provide accurate proof of insurance prior to attending our trips will result in cancellation.
